Gambling was going on in a hotel in Ambala: 7 gamblers from Delhi-Kaithal caught in police raid; 2.41 lakh cash found.





In Ambala, Haryana, the CIA-2 team of the police raided a hotel near the police line and arrested 7 gamblers, from whose possession Rs 2.41 lakh cash as well as 2 boxes of playing cards were recovered. Police is investigating the matter.


Out of the 7 arrested accused, 3 are residents of Delhi and 4 are residents of Kaithal. The accused include Chetan Rathore, resident of E-18 Sudarshan Park, New Delhi, Pradeep, Sagar, resident of Manav Vihar, New Delhi, Dilbagh alias Baga, resident of Chandlana Gate Colony, Kaithal, Sunil Kumar and Naresh Kumar, residents of Pundri, Sonu Sharma, resident of india.



Earlier also the accused used to gamble while booking rooms.

CIA-2 incharge Sandeep Singh said that late on Thursday evening, secret information was received that some gamblers were betting in AP Residency near the police line. On the basis of the same information, a raid was conducted in hotel room number 302. 7 people were caught gambling on the spot.


2.41 lakh cash recovered from the possession of the accused. Sandeep Singh told that earlier also the accused used to come to this hotel and gamble. Of the 7 accused, 3 are from Delhi and 4 are from Kaithal.

Canter hits bike in Ambala: Woman dies, mother and son injured; Were returning to pay obeisance at Pir's Dargah.


A woman died tragically after being hit by a canter in Ambala, Haryana. Mother and son were seriously injured in the accident. The accident happened near Durga Nursery before Over Bridge Barara at 6.30 pm. The woman was returning home after paying obeisance at the Pir's Dargah along with her sister-in-law and nephew. The deceased has been identified as Geeta Devi, resident of Thambad. Police have registered a case against the accused canter driver.






Happy Kumar, resident of village Thambad, told that he is living in Near Nirkari Bhawan (Barara) Rajan Colony. He has a vegetable shop at Barara Mandi Gate. On Thursday, he along with his mother Bimla and aunt Geeta Devi had gone to Barara village on a bike to pay obeisance at the Dargah of Peer Baba. After paying obeisance from here, all three were going back home on the bike.


Canter hit from behind

As soon as he reached near Durga Nursery before Over Bridge Barara at 6.30 pm, a speeding canter (HR58B9636) came from Kawalati Chowk and hit his bike from behind. After the collision, all three of them fell down from the bike. The accused canter driver came to him. During this time, a crowd of passers-by also gathered, who admitted all three to CHC Barara.



Died in Mullana Medical College

Here the doctors referred him to MMU Medical College after first aid. When he reached here, the doctor declared his aunt dead. While his mother and he are undergoing treatment. After receiving the information, the police reached the hospital and recorded the statements of the injured. On the basis of the statement, the police have registered a case against the accused canter driver under sections 279, 337 and 304 A and started investigation.

The raid lasted for 5 hours, 12 personnel were found absent, the team took along documents related to the schemes for investigation.






On receiving information about possible disturbance in the office of Horticulture Department, the team of CM Flying raided the office as soon as it opened on Wednesday morning. The team searched all the records here from around 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. The team took some records with them for investigation. The team will prepare the report and send it to the headquarters. During this period, Executive Engineer Ranbir Singh from the Irrigation Department was the duty magistrate. SI Hitendra Gautam, SI Rajbir, ASI Sukhvindra, ASI Parvindra and Head Constable Praveen were present from CM Flying. District Horticulture Officer Dr. Virendra Singh said that the CM flying team has checked the records in the office. This was done as part of routine checking. Records have been completely maintained in the office. Meanwhile, Duty Magistrate Executive Engineer Ranbir Singh said that some employees were absent during morning checking. During this period, information about schemes was also collected. No deficiencies of any kind were found.


When the team of CM Flying reached the office of Horticulture Department at 9:10 am, office associate Rakesh, data entry operators Shubham and Amit Sharma, helper Reena and peon Rakesh were present. Apart from this, accountant Gurvinder Singh had gone to Panchkula headquarters. Clerk Ajay Kumar was on medical leave since December 1. Watchman Manish was on night duty. Whereas District Horticulture Advisor Dinesh Kumar, Block Horticulture Advisor Shivam, Field Supervisor David and Field Man Happy came to know that they are on duty in Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Apart from this, driver Samrat was on temporary duty for one day at DC office, Ambala. During the team's visit, District Horticulture Officer Dr. Virendra Singh, Data Entry Operator Harjeet, Field Man Dharampal, Office Assistant Rakesh reached the office by 9:20 am. When the team asked the officers and personnel who arrived late about the reason, everyone told them that they were late due to dense fog.
