Patwari-Kanungo on strike in Rohtak: Work of land records and certificates stuck; If demands are not met the strike will increase
Patwari and Kanungo are on strike in Rohtak for three days under the banner of Revenue Patwar and Kanungo Association Haryana. The strike, which started on January 3, continued for the third day. Due to which work like land records, domicile, caste certificate etc. are getting affected. People are reaching tehsils, but their work is not getting done. Due to which they have to return.
The Revenue Patwar and Kanungo Association, Rohtak's senior vice-president Meenakshi and secretary Ravi Patwari said that the Patwari and Kanungo have been on strike for three days. But till now the government has not accepted their demand. Due to which there is anger among the Patwaris. If the demands are not met then the strike will be extended.
Struggling to get jamabandi rectified.
Rohtak resident Tapish told that he had come to get his jamabandi rectified. His mother's name changed from Veena Devi to Meena Devi. For this he has been making rounds for three-four days. But it is not getting better. When he came to the Patwari, the gate was locked. Due to which we are facing.
Govardhan, a resident of Kahnour village, said that he had come to the tehsil to get his death marked a strike. His registry has not expired. Had to get it written from Patwari, but Patwari is on strike. Because of this his work is not being done.

22 year old girl missing under suspicious circumstances in Rohtak: Slept with family at night, found missing in the morning; mobile phone also switched off.
Again a girl goes missing under suspicious circumstances in Rohtak, Haryana. She slept with the family at night, but when she woke up in the morning she was found missing. She used to stay at home after passing BA. The girl's mobile phone is also switched off. Due to which no contact is possible with him.
A resident of a village in Rohtak informed in the complaint lodged at Sampla police station that he has a 22 year old niece. Who has passed BA. On January 3, his niece was at home. But on January 4, at around 3 am in the morning, Al went missing from home without any information. When the family members came to know about this, they started searching for the girl. But no clue was found anywhere.
He told that his niece's mobile phone is also switched off. After which the complaint was given to the police and a request was made to search for the girl. Based on which the police registered a case and started investigation and started searching for the girl. But no clue was found anywhere.
